Nepali Film Industry is a very small industry and it is not very popular outside Nepal. The industry might be small but there more than 200 -250 movies are released every year. And many people too carry the dream of becoming and actor in the industry. Only some become successful and many disappear. It is not because they are not talented but it is because to be successful in this industry you either need money and power or have to do what the powerful people in the industry want.This is a video uploaded on YouTube which shows the true face of Nepali film industry. In the video it is shown how talented people are forced to do things that they do not want to do. Not only that untalented people who are powerful and rich or are able to give it all become successful. In the short movie a girl names Sonu wants to become an actress. She takes dancing classes and acting classes. She is the best in her class and her teachers also expect that she will become a very successful actress later on. After her classes finish she goes to a director who is searching for new actresses from his movie. She goes to the studio and gives her number to him. The next day the director says that she either has to pay money or be an escort for him. The girl gets very annoyed and leaves.
She goes to many other directors but she gets the same response. And that is when she finally realizes that she has to do something. She starts to have an affair with many directors. She gets assigned as a heroin for the movie but her movie never gets released. She becomes depressed and tries to com*mit su!c*ide that is when a top director comes over to her to make her heroin of her movie after her teachers recommended her to him.
