Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato has said that new constitution without federalism will not be accepted by the common people.
Speaking at a press conference organised by the party in Rupandehi today, Mahato said that the promulgating new statute without federalism would be incomplete and it would be against the spirit of various movements and sentiments of people.
He said that the main spirit of movements including the people's movement, Madhes movement and other movements was to promulgate the federal, republic and democratic constitution.
Mahato decried about the Madhes movement not being mentioned in the draft of the new constitution. He also suggested to mention federalism, democracy and republicanism as unchangeable provisions in the new constitution.
