Asthma is one of a kind of disease that effects the lungs and alters in the respiration. In Nepal still more than millions of the people are becoming the victims of this disease and the victims are in increasing way.
To reduce this problem first we need to know how this disease occurs because if you know the reasons you will adopt the prevention methods before you are suffered from this.
Why this happens?
When we breathe the air that we inhale goes to the lungs. While inhaling the respiratory tract gets narrow and inside the lungs and the trachea is divided into many branches.
If we have asthma the internal part of the respiratory tract is swollen and when we do the hard work or the dust smoke the respiratory tract gets into more pressure. The thick layer of cough gets stucked inside that will cause the breathing problem. If this condition is increased than we will have the Asthma Attack and we need to go to hospital immediately.
How to recognize that you are suffered from Asthma?
Once ask to yourself.
Do I cough during night?
Do I get trouble while breathing? Or sometimes you feel like you can’t breathe?
Do my chest pain while breathing? Sometimes inhaling the deep breathe you will get trouble.
Do anyone in my family has Asthma?
If you get the answer yes from the above question than think that you are suffered from asthma.
Do any house made idea are there for this disease?
The exact reason for this disease hasn’t been found but it has been identified that the pollution, environment, improper food, breathe and some of the medicine causes this disease.
This is one of the dangerous disease and there are many precautions for this. So here are some of the remedies that can be made in the house. But if the condition is critical than you need to consult the physician.
1. Ginger
Ginger is one of the natural herbs that prevents from the dangerous disease like asthma. According to the specialist this will relax the respiratory tract and helps in exhaling and inhaling the air.
Mix ginger juice, pomegranate juice and honey in same amount. If you eat this 3 times a day than you will get some improvement. Even if the dry ginger powder is mixed with hot water and drink it one times a day you might get relief from asthma.
If 1 inch ginger is mixed with the water and boiled it for 10 minutes and if you drink this you will get relief from this problems. You can eat the raw ginger with salt as well.
2. Mustard Oil
When suffering from asthma massage with the mustard oil that will open the respiratory tract and it won’t give you the problem while breathing. Heat the oil and Camphor powder and cool it and after it gets little cold than massage it on your chest and backbone.
3. Garlic
Garlic reduces the pressure in the lungs that you have during asthma.  Add 2/3 piece of garlic in one cup milk and warm it. After that make it cool and drink.
4. Coffee
Drinking coffee is very beneficial. The caffeine that is found in the coffee relax the respiratory tract and it will be easy to breathe. The more strong is the coffee it is more beneficial. But don’t drink the coffee more than 3 times a day. If you don’t like coffee you can drink black tea. But every-time you get attack don’t drink the coffee.
5. Onions
Onion has the power to prevent the burns that will reduce the problem that is happening in the respiratory tract. Similarly the sulphur that is present in the onion will relax the respiratory tract. When the asthma attacks eat the raw onions. If you don’t like the raw onion than you can steam it and eat.
6. Lemon
The infected people has the less amount of vitamin c. Lemon contains vitamin c and antioxidant that will reduce the symptoms of asthma in some time. In the morning add lemon in the warm water and according to your taste add the sugar and drink it. This will reduce the probability of the asthma attack.
